Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club runs every day of the week from 8:00am and during the session the children receive a choice of cereals and/or toast for their breakfast (see the breakfast menu below for more details). It is supervised by Emma Flower, one of our TAs and it is available for all pupils (for Reception children it is available after October half term). At 8:30am, the children are moved into the playground where they are then supervised by a member of staff.

You can book Breakfast Club sessions in advance via ParentPay at a cost of £3.50 per child per day. If you can’t see the option in your ParentPay account, or don’t yet have an account, please email the school office at office@danehill.e-sussex.sch.uk.

Please note: You can book a Breakfast Club session up to 6am on the same day as a booking via ParentPay.

We would ask if you could please ensure your child arrives on time, so that the club can run smoothly, thank you.

Breakfast Menu

  • Toast with preserves and butter.
  • A low sugar wholegrain cereal with cow’s milk.

Cyrnel Bakery have very kindly offered to donate freshly baked bread for the children to have for their toast. The bread consists of mixed brown and white organic flours and is hand made in a traditional way using Matthew’s flour.

This bread is a firm favourite with children. The amount of fat and salt in their bread is much lower than shop-bought breads and is only there to assist the yeast and there are no added preservatives.

Please let us know in advance when booking if your child(ren) require a milk alternative.
